BioKristen Corral

Kristen Corral is a passionate entrepreneur, advocate, and the co-founder of Tacotarian, an award-winning plant-based restaurant chain redefining the way people experience plant-based cuisine. Since its inception in 2018, Tacotarian has expanded to six locations, is now franchising across the U.S., and has launched a retail line available in grocery stores nationwide. Kristen's deep-rooted belief that food is more than just sustenance—it’s a connector, a mood-changer, and a force for good—has driven her to build a brand that seamlessly blends culinary innovation with community impact.

A serial entrepreneur and small-business advocate, Kristen taught herself everything she knows, learning and growing through hands-on experience. Her dedication to continuous learning is evident, as she graduated as one of only 15 small business owners in Southern Nevada who completed over 500 hours of MBA-style education through the SBA THRIVE program.

Beyond the restaurant industry, Kristen actively works with local and state officials to drive real change for women business owners in Nevada. As an advocate for economic empowerment and small business growth, she champions policies and initiatives that create more opportunities for female entrepreneurs to thrive.

Kristen’s commitment to community runs deep. As the Advocacy Chair for the National Association of Women Business Owners Southern Nevada chapter, she works to advance policies that elevate women in business. Her role as a board member of the Nevada SPCA aligns with her lifelong dedication to animal welfare, supporting efforts to rescue and care for animals in need.

Named one of Vegas Inc.’s 40 Under 40, Kristen has built a reputation as a trailblazer in small business marketing and innovation. She is on a mission to show that making a difference doesn’t have to be complicated—it can start with something as simple as a taco.

At TEDx Las Vegas 2025, Kristen will share her insights on how food can become a vehicle for social impact, why businesses thrive when they break away from traditional models of charitable giving, and how small, intentional actions can create ripple effects that change communities for the better.
